Who we are.
A community-connection project at the Jersey Shore promoting physical, cognitive, & social health for individuals with & without neuro & developmental disabilities.
A community-based program, with downtown home bases in Monmouth County NJ, primarily serving adults (21+).
We provide therapeutic wellness opportunities to the general public, serving as a bridge to connect the Disability community with their local community. We provide services to a wide range of demographics including, but not limited to: developmental and intellectual disabilities, mental health indicators, acquired brain injuries, executive dysfunction, and dementia as well as community members without disabilities.
Blue Dot: Social & Community Wellness is dedicated to promoting belonging and well-being for all while giving back to the local community and environment.

Classes, open and inviting to the general public, vary in topic ranging from, but not limited to, sustainable crafting to cognitive and mental wellness to cooking and more. Our whole purpose is to connect the community, existing to serve the general public and create a life filled with more inclusion, acceptance, and belonging for all. All classes are lead by highly trained staff and experts in a wide range of fields!

As a person-centered practice, the individuals, caregivers, and practitioners collaborate to develop functional goals to support optimal health, wellness, and overall engagement and participation in daily occupations (the meaningful tasks that occupy one's time) in a community-based setting.

A personalized approach to developing essential skills that help individuals of all ages and backgrounds thrive emotionally, mentally, physically, and socially. By tailoring strategies to the unique needs and challenges of each person, this training fosters a deeper sense of self-awareness, emotional regulation, and mental fortitude, empowering individuals to navigate stress, setbacks, and adversity with greater ease, supporting their success across environments.

Making a more aware, accepting, and inclusive, local workforce: Individuals interested in working are supported by our trained employment specialists to be successful and find purpose!

We offer immersive opportunities to promote community-connection including many opportunities to volunteer and give back to the local community while gaining valuable skills to support social and vocational well-being.

In order to offer more social opportunities for adults, we host weekly group programming in the afternoons and evening focused on application of mindful living practices.

At home on the
Jersey Shore
We are grateful to have three locations to call home on the Jersey Shore! Our wonderful partners, the Asbury Book Cooperative and St. Andrew’s Church, share their spaces with us to hold weekly events and classes.
Our first stand-alone location, in Belmar, is where we hold a majority of our group therapy sessions, wellness classes, and community events. It also houses our Blue Dot Market where we a selection of products and merch :)
